【解説】 英国のダロック駐米大使が本国への機密公電でトランプ政権を「無能」と報告していたと、英紙メール・オン・サンデーが７日、報じた。政権を「頼りにならない」「例を見ないほど機能不全」などと評し、英首相官邸に報告していたという。
これを受けトランプ氏は８日、ツイッターに「（ダロック氏は）米国で好かれていないし評判も良くない。米国は彼を相手にしない」などと書き込み批判していた。９日のツイートではダロック氏を露骨に非難した。
